Femininity Developments

As I said in my last blog post our female skulls still need some more work to accurately represent a female skull. The picture attached is one of a few "work in progresses".

Femininity - Part One

Femininity - Part One

Many years ago, I took contact with my three main suppliers of skulls, to ask them for a skull who would look a little bit more feminine. My American suppliers didn't answer, but some at Skullis did :)"How do you think we could make them look more feminine?" was his question. "Why don't you try a little slimmer, with almond shaped eyes?" was my first answer. The skull pictured is one of the first prototypes. We are keeping one and the other...

Rainforest Jasper

Rainforest Jasper comes from Australia. For me it has a gorgeous meaning: it links to forest, from there to nature, from there to our own nature: it teaches us to love ourselves as we are. We've been told so many times, by our parents, educators, coaches, teachers... that we will be lovable once we are like this or that. This Jasper tells me I am perfect as I am. I have a really big one on my night table as a constant reminder: I'm a slow learner. After all, green is healing green, one of the two colours of the Heart Chakra....
